Our 25 August 2015 event saw excellent presentations from Brian Wilkinson from BW Proficient Solutions and Mike Almond from Synergy Group on “Converting Potential Customers into Paying Customers”
Brian shared with us the EDGE sales model which he has successfully implemented with business owners and achieved measured year on year results of increased transactions by 16% and increased dollar at the till by 39%!!! With one of Brian’s clients, sales increased by 10% by merely encouraging staff at the checkout to smile and acknowledge the customer at the checkout.
Mike shared with us how we can gain insight into our customer’s needs by understanding first where they are in buying decision process. Depending where they are in the buying process your customer maybe ready or not ready to buy. By having an understanding and appreciation of where your customer is in the buying process you can use certain strategies to convert your potential customer into a paying customer.
